Insights into Underrail Rubber Pad’s Effect on Vehicle-Track-Viaduct System Dynamics

چکیده

To scientifically characterize the dynamic mechanical characteristics of rubber pad under rail fasteners and its influence on response vehicle-rail-viaduct system, taking WJ-7B high-speed railway (HSR) with constant resistance as an example, a TFDV model was applied to viscoelasticity theoretical in coupling vehicle-rail-bridge also studied. The results show that energy storage modulus loss factor curved surface relation versus change frequency-temperature. In certain frequency/temperature range, increase decrease temperature frequency, low parameters is more significant. With temperature, minimum value total flexibility decreases, corresponding extreme frequency shifts high frequency. Viscoelastic features mainly affect vehicle subsystem rail-bridge subsystem. ambient pad, dominant band power spectrum curve each structure

The Effect of Slip on the Compressive Behavior of Unbonded Rubber Pads: a Finite Element Approach

Steel-reinforced elastomeric isolators (SREIs) are considerably more expensive than unbonded steel-reinforced elastomeric bearings like those typically used in bridge applications to accommodate thermal expansion/contraction of the bridge deck. SREIs are vulcanized to thick steel end-plates (25 mm or thicker) that are bolted to the supports, while unbonded elastomeric bearings do not have thick...

On the Object Oriented Design of a Track-Vehicle System

In this paper, we introduce a Petri net based methodology for the design of a track-vehicle system. The main motivation for the introduction of this methodology is to provide a rm theoretic model to be applied in the development of a systen for design automation. We exemplify our presentation by deening the objects for the design of a distributed track vehicle system controller.

Insights into the effect of vanadium on chromium-vanadium Phillips catalysts for the ethylene polymerization

The chromium/vanadium bimetallic Phillips catalysts developed by our research group have been proved to be a promising process to produce bimodal polyethylene using a single-reactor process. The vanadium loading of CrV-1/1, CrV-1/2, and CrV-1/3 has a significant effect on the polymerization activity, product molecular weight (MW), as well as th...

Dynamic Response of the Coupled Vehicle-Floating Slab Track System using Finite Element Method

In present study, a mathematical model of the vehicle–floating slab track (FST) interaction is established to investigate the coupled behaviour of vehicle–track system. The FST is modelled as the double Euler -Bernoulli beam including the rail and slab. The railway vehicle is simplified as a multi-rigid-body model. The wheel–rail interface is treated using a nonlinear Hertzian contact model, co...

Structural Insights into tRNA Dynamics on the Ribosome

High-resolution structures at different stages, as well as biochemical, single molecule and computational approaches have highlighted the elasticity of tRNA molecules when bound to the ribosome. It is well acknowledged that the inherent structural flexibility of the tRNA lies at the heart of the protein synthesis process. Here, we review the recent advances and describe considerations that the ...
